When you work remotely, you have to do it right. I feel like a home office / creative studio should be an extension of your personality… As a creator (and total geek), my workspace is more than just a desk – it’s the engine that powers my creativity. Empty walls and small cubicles just don’t cut it for me. My office is dark and moody, covered in art, and everything contains color changing lights, from my lamps to my mousepad. At the center is a newly purchased custom PC build – one designed to be an absolute beast for any creative task I throw at it, from gigabytes of LOG Video to Virtual Reality 3D Modeling. For me, having a powerful and reliable setup means I can spend less time waiting and more time focusing on what truly matters: crafting impactful visuals for my clients.

I’ve used both Mac and PC systems over the decades, but PC will always win my heart because of their customization and sheer gaming power. My rig boasts a liquid cooled Intel i9 processor, RTX 5080 graphics card, and perhaps unneeded but totally unstoppable 96GB of DDR5 ram for fearless multitasking. The audio nerd in me uses a seporate external DAC and Tube Amplifier hooked into a 7 band Equalizer that cna switch from PC to turntable audio. Pair that with two 4k monitors, a self-customized StreamDeck+ XL, and NVMe solid state drives… to put it simply… my system never breaks a sweat during those marathon creative sessions.

Effective storytelling forms the heart of impactful video, culling hundreds of clips and crafting them into a final product. Drawing on my fine art background (MFA) and professional experience as a lead editor for a marketing company, I excel at “finding that narrative” using pacing, shot selection, and emotional cues to craft compelling stories.

Effective sound design involves everything from music, to dialogue, and even using sound effects to create atmosphere and guide the viewer’s emotional response. My work has involved everything from multi-mic podcasting, selecting music to match the mood, and layering audio effects to build a polished broadcast worthy piece. It’s not just about clean sound, it’s about an immersive audio experience that supports the visuals in order to take the viewer on a journey.

Multicam Editing involves synchronizing footage from multiple cameras simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between angles with the press of a button in order to capture the best perspectives and make that narrative flow. I have worked with multicam in various interviews, podcasts, and live events, ensuring smooth cuts and focusing on natural timing.

• Edited and delivered high-impact video content from concept to completion, managing editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics for commercial and non-profit clients like Chevy, Ford, and Make-A-Wish.
• Developed and implemented automated video editing workflows using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (including custom templates, presets, and macros), significantly streamlining post-production, improving efficiency, and enhancing consistency.
• Designed and managed a complex project tracking system (Google Sheets) for organizing and monitoring status/deadlines across hundreds of concurrent media projects.

• Initially managed an in-person photography studio in Pittston, PA. Led and trained a team of photographers and assistants, ensuring high-quality imaging standards.
• Subsequently transitioned to a fully remote role, executing high-volume image editing via streamlined Adobe Photoshop workflows and custom actions.

• Instructed university-level courses on digital photography principles and techniques for 6 semesters, effectively communicating complex technical and creative concepts.
• Managed all classroom responsibilities. Planned lessons incorporating art history and theory, delivered technical demonstrations, led project critiques, and provided constructive feedback.
  

• Developed custom Adobe Photoshop actions, scripts, and efficient film-to-digital workflows to significantly accelerate the editing process while ensuring high quality standards.
